Was contacted by company recruiter and told to apply online. After applying there was a personality/IQ test... followed by additional questions. In person interviews started off with yet another personality/IQ test and then two one-on-one interviews (on different days) where personal questions were asked and programming problems were discussed.
Seemed a bit much of an interview process for a position that didn't pay that well. This company is known for paying below market for their talent (though that may be changing). Both interviewers were dressed in sandals, shorts, and t-shirts that were wrinkled. I understand that they have a relaxed atmosphere there, but if you're going to interview someone you could at least dress in clothes that aren't wrinkled. You could also dress in shorts that don't expose your rear end to a potential hire. Not a good first impression of the company.
To go though that much of a process and not at least get some sort of offer is frustrating. I would have turned it down anyway because it probably would have been on the low end of the market, but it was good to get the interview experience and to figure out what kind of company it is - which is not the kind of company that I want to work for.
