      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Grayce

      Interview

4 part interview. Starts with initial call and then 3 separate interview rounds. Depending on your availability and there’s this can take weeks. Just because this somewhat of a grad scheme, you will still have to interview with other companies after. So best advice if you want a job start your search 3-4 months before you actually want to start working.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grayce (Gaithersburg, MD) in Aug 2024

      Interview

They are a consulting company that seeks entry-level graduates to work for two years as a Grayce Contractor. The first year you'll make around 52k (USD) and then their second year it goes up by 7 or so thousand with the hope that you'll be place with the client full-time after the two years. The first interview is a 15 minute phone screen, and the second interview is a zoom call and in-between both, they ask you to learn as much as you can about the company. They are not very responsive to inquiries and its almost like a revolving door for their analyst because they "receive such high volumes of applicants" (seems to be the go to excuse for not responding to inquiries from applicants that they insisted we send). Upon doing my research, I saw online that if we leave prior to the two year contract we could have to repay the cost of training (which online I believe was around £15,000) and that may have set off some alarm bells with my interviewer when I brought it up (their response was that we "shouldn't have to worry about anything like that"???). Training is 1-3 weeks prior to placement with the client you're assigned to. I Didn't make it beyond that 2nd interview but hopefully this gives you insight on what to expect when you interview. If you're in dire need of work or don't mind staying with Grayce for 2 years then you can consider going for it (just look into development/rotational programs in your area to see how they compare to Grayce and make sure you read your contract). It could be worth it to me if you don't have to pay back the cost of "training" or the certs they offer. Good luck.
