Interview
I got rejected almost instantly, the mind of the hr was already made, I stood no chance. And please fix this website, I haven't had a job yet, so I can't really complete these surveys.
I applied through university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Google Cloud (New York, NY) in Jun 2023
Interview
"I recently interviewed for a junior data analyst role at Google, and it was both challenging and rewarding. It started with a quick chat about my background and interest in the role, then moved into technical screens focusing on SQL, Excel, and some basic stats—things like joining data, calculating averages, and explaining A/B tests.
The virtual technical round dove deeper, with complex SQL problems, cleaning data, and discussing how I’d visualize insights. They really wanted to see my thought process. Then there was a behavioral interview where I shared how I’ve handled teamwork and tight deadlines. Finally, I presented a case study, showing how I’d approach real-world analysis and communicate my findings.
Overall, they looked not only for technical ability but also how well I communicate and approach problems. It was a valuable learning experience!”
