I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Good Life Sorted (Southampton, England) in Jul 2022
Interview
Friendly, smooth, approachable. It was early days for the business but all seemed to be working well so far so I was excited to see how things progressed. Young girl who conducted the informal interview knew a lot about the onboarding process and kept great communication throughout.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Good Life Sorted (London, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
First stage was a video recording with some questions to answer.
Second stage was a call with CTO.
After the second stage I was rejected with the usual generic message on LinkedIn "after careful consideration we have decided to not move forward with your application". Since the message came from the CTO (who mentioned 6 people were in the process), I asked for some feedback, but I've been ghosted. I know this is common practice nowadays for companies, but considering people prep for interviews and spend 1h+ talking to you, I think it would be nice to explain what is the reason for the rejection, particularly if you have only 6 people in the process.

Question 1
- Why Good life sorted
- Why did you apply for this specific role

Interview
Process never officially completed.
Essentially ghosted after I took the time to visit their office which was really disappointing.
I took part in 3 stages of the process:
- video message to questions
- remote interview with founder
- in person interview with founder and CGO
After these stages, I was invited for *another in-person interview* with the same people, when I thought the last in-person interview was final stage. Another stage was not previously communicated.
After being invited to the second in-person interview, I replied back within a few hours to say that I couldn’t make it to the office that week. Instead, I offered to do the interview the following week or else to do it that week remotely. I was never responded to after this and haven’t heard from them.
Really poor candidate experience to not reply after the effort I made to take annual leave from my current job to come to their office .
