      Software Development Engineer I Interview

      Dec 16, 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GoKwik in Aug 2024

      Interview

It was a really good experience. The questions asked were not that tough, and they were straightforward. The HR who contacted me regarding the opening was very helpful and provided me with good guidance. Since I was a Fullstack Developer with a primary focus on front-end and worked with different stacks, I was asked generic front-end and JavaScript questions instead of focusing too much on a specific framework/library. There were 2 Technical rounds, a managerial round and finally an HR round.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Round 1: 2 DSA questions and a few questions regarding JS and Programming fundamentals (closure, currying, etc). Round 2: Questions testing your knowledge regarding HTML/CSS and JS fundamentals. Things like event delegation can be talked about when asked to optimize event handling. Managerial round: Questions regarding past experience, contribution, work style, etc. HR round: similar to managerial, but more focused on qualities and company values.
