(1) Phone screen, walk me through your resume, strengths and weaknesses, salary expectations, etc.
(2) Case study comparing Private Equity companies to show you understand the industry, mock candidate search for a job vacancy.
(3) Phone call reviewing case study.

Interview
First a casual behavioral interview/chat, then a case study (you get sent materials to do ahead of time and then go over it in an interview), then several conversations with current members of the company. All online.

Question 1
Walking them through resume and experience during the first one, and then a case study about private equity industry that involves doing some research on your own.
Fine, had a call then did a case study and got the offer. Fast paced interview showed me the platform and assumed I caught onto everything he was saying. Case study was fine— just figuring out where to find people to place, difference between two PE firms, a question about carry, and a creative business development question.

Be prepared to talk about your work experience and expect some unconventional personal q’s
They called me out of nowhere while I was at work, and asked if it was a good time to talk. I said no because I needed to get back to work, but proposed a time for two days later, to which he agreed. He sent me an email follow up with the job description, and confirmed the phone interview. When the day came for the actual phone call, no one called. I emailed them asking if we were still on for that day, and no response. I haven't heard from them since. Extremely unprofessional--I would avoid at all cost.
