This was for a position in Barcelona. They contacted me on linkedin. Supposedly it’s a 4 stage process. First hr, second a live coding interview, third a system design interview (I think), and a final culture interview (whatever that means, I didn’t get that far).
I was rejected after the live coding. The feedback I received was absolutely fair and on point, it’s nice to receive an actual reason rather than a generic email.
The live coding interview itself was 1hr long. 10 min for introductions, 45min for the challenges and 5 min for questions. The interviewers were nice enough. They made me write some simple tests.
My advice for anyone doing this interview, check other peoples experiences on this site and write down the coding questions (they are usually leetcode easy/medium stuff), and try to resolve them.
It kinda does feel like it comes down to luck a little bit. If you saw that particular question before you’re probably going to solve it. If you didn’t, the time you get is a little tight to come up with the solution (but you definitely can! Don’t panic. I managed to do it and I’m a total noob).
