Very bad experience with the interview process. It was for the Pricing Data Analyst role and I got an assignment to do in a week. The assignment was building a DB and making a very long SQL query using Amazon Redshift. Also answering 2 questions about A/B testing using 500 words in each. I spent more than 20 hours doing the test and in the interview they didn't even give me feedback. When I asked they told me it's a pass. Then they started making business and finance questions that were not really my field since I studied computer science with an MSc in Bioinformatics. Then after the technical interview they told me they needed someone with more finance experience! It would have saved me 25 hours of my life if they would have read my CV more carefully. This is disgraceful. The start up interviews now last a month and they want you to be Einstein and spend a good week working on their test that they might glimpse for 10 minutes. I find that very unfair and exploitative.
