The phone screen is about 45 minutes. The interviewer mainly focused on one of my previous research project, and asked me the details of this project (such as the intuition, how do you implement the method, is there other solutions). After that, I was asked some general questions, such as which programming language you use, which machine learning methods have you been exposed to. The next step will be an onsite interview.
