Phone Screen and then Panel interview. NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE Haphazard interview process. Had to wait over 45 minutes before I was called in. Not every member (who was supposed to interview) was present for the panel interview. The recruiter said that the next step is to set up another interview with the missing interviewer and it will be set up right away (exact words "you will see the followup invite even before you reach home"). The recruiter never got back. Followed up but met with complete silence. It would have been a nice and polite thing to inform the interviewee of the outcome (negative or positive). The interviewee takes a lot of effort (mentally & physically) for the interview and the least the recruiter can do is to provide a closure to the interview (professional courtesy). The whole interview process was handled in a hodge-podge unprofessional way.
