I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gcore (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Oct 2025
Interview
I participated in two interview stages. The first one was with HR, where they asked basic questions and quickly scheduled a technical interview. During the technical interview, they also asked mostly typical technical questions, and at the end they said everything went well. Both interviews were friendly and relaxed. In the end, I only received an email saying they were not ready to continue with the interview process further.

I was given a code example and asked to explain what was wrong with it.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gcore (Polskie) in Jul 2024
Interview
1 interview with HR approx. 45 mins
1 interview with the hiring manager approx. an hour
1 test article of 700 to 1000 words. Took 3-4 hours.
Rejection
I think they should get you to do the test before meeting with the hiring manager because it was a waste of time meeting the person I might work with if they haven’t assessed my skills yet. Honestly I think the test was too long. 700 to 1000 words is not quick and I wasted a few hours of my life doing this all for nothing. It’s like I was a performing monkey. And they waited until four days later after submission to reject me at 5pm on a Friday. Nice. That really started my weekend off nicely. They should only give the test to people before the hiring manager interview. It’s a waste of time to speak to the hiring manager if they haven’t been able to assess your skills yet.
The interview began normal enough with a screening interview with HR. It went well, I met most of the qualifications and I was told I'd progress to the second of three interviews with the hiring manager – but not before I completed a test task, upon which I 'might' get selected for a second interview. Though I do so begrudgingly, as test tasks have become an increasingly standard requirement of recruitment these days, I accepted the terms from HR and asked for the test task. What does this company think they are? NASA? The test task was an easy TWO WEEKS worth of unpaid work for a mid-level Email Marketing Manager role. I stated as such in my reply, said I'd be willing to speak to the hiring manager without the need to complete this absurd test 'project,' and that I'd let my 10 years of experience speak for itself. Naturally, I did not receive any further communication from HR.
