Avoid like the plague if you are a seasoned professional unless you are referred and potentially skip the clueless screeners! After finishing my screening call with someone who absolutely lacked any knowledge of the business, I decided to withdraw my application immediately after finishing the call. When a large company like Gartner puts its trust with someone who knows nothing about sales and what research and advisory is, then they deserve to get average resources. To highlight my point, the screener actually asked me what "H1" means when I was explaining my achievements! I wonder what else they didn't understand, I was throwing acronyms out there like "QBR", "GTM", etc. and they potentially didn't know what these were, so they simply couldn't put things together! No wonder Gartner's revenue YoY has been fixed at 15% for many years, which is likely only from annual price increases with no growth.
