I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
Challenging real life scenario role play with fictitious CXO client. Given background information on client scenario and conducted a meeting as I would in real life. Uncovered client’s critical priorities, quantified pain/challenges associated, and positioned Gartner for next steps to enable client success and secure path to closure of new services. After conclusion self-evaluated performance and received feedback from leadership. Had the opportunity to ask any outstanding questions not covered in previous interview sessions.

Question 1
Describe your approach to working/partnering with a client in a difficult/challenging scenario
Recruiter and Skills Assessor were fantastic. While doing a roleplay in interviews is cumbersome, great experience to get ready for final interview. While difficult, if you listen to your coaches they will guide you. They care a lot about actioning the feedback they give you so make sure you pay attention. Excited to start with this company,
Initial recruiter screening followed by second role play interview. Second interview also featured trait based questions - eg tell us about a recent goal you had and how you put a plan in place to reach that goal. I found the role play situation so contrived. Very nice people though

Tell us about a time where you influenced a c-level executive
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Gartner in Dec 2023
Interview
I initially had a positive impression of the interview process. We discussed the next steps, and the interviewer assured me that they would provide additional written information. However, despite my proactive follow-up, I never received any further communication. This lack of responsiveness has left me with a sense of unprofessionalism and has impacted my overall experience with the process. Clear communication is crucial in any professional setting, and I hope this feedback is constructive for future interactions.
