The staff sends you an email, then you go to the Garden before it opens and sit down with the owner and the assistant manager types. It's pretty informal and geared toward people who will already be a demographic and cultural fit. There aren't any minority employees (outside of the kitchen), and you have to be a complete hipster to fit in. If you do, great!
