Throughout a meticulous five-round interview process, including an interview with Alisia, the company owner overseeing HR for a decade, there was a sudden shift in the position's vision at the final stage. This unexpected alteration, after investing considerable time, felt unprofessional and significantly impacted my work commitments. Regrettably, this experience leads me to reconsider any future involvement with this company.

Interview
The initial interview took place over Zoom with one of the co-founders. The position is open because she is only now, after more than ten years of managing the business, deciding to delegate the recruitment process while she concentrates on a different role. Typically, this delegation would occur within the first 3-5 years of running a business, which raises concerns. This is not a concern I raised during the interview because I personally cut it short realizing this would not be a fit.

Interview
I had a phone interview and a follow up on-site interview that involved some technical questions but was mostly about getting to know me and seeing if I was a good fit for the team I was applying for. The phone interview was among the best I have ever had and it made me really confident about the company I was applying for. The on-site interview involved a large number of people in the company, including my entire soon-to-be team, soon-to-be manager, and soon-to-be boss.
