The interview process took longer than I expected. It involved three interviews and an on-site shadowing session. Afterward, I was asked to participate in another interview, but I decided I was no longer interested in the position, so I submitted a withdrawal email. Despite this, I was contacted via text, rather than a phone call, to congratulate me and offer me the position. They then asked about my availability to schedule a time to discuss the offer. It felt like a last-minute attempt to persuade me not to leave. I replied, stating that I had already sent my withdrawal email and was no longer interested. The recruiter then asked if I would be willing to schedule a meeting to discuss what I felt was unprofessional about the process and to share my thoughts on how the recruiting and interview process could be improved.
