The process took 2 days. I interviewed at GM Financial
Interview
Applied online then got a phone call from HR to setup a time to go over resume. Phone interview consisted of questions asked from a sheet of paper . HR must have been knew he kept contradicting himself and was taking to long to write down what I was telling him. I was surprised that I was not moved to next round as I have a friend who got hired with no expeirience in the automotive field and never had a sales job either.
It's unfortunate but evident that ageism is alive and well here. Had interview with recruiter and was told with my experience I would be passed on to the hiring manger but one day later, received a form letter turn down stating that they were proceeding with candidates with more experience (I have over 20 years experience).

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GM Financial (Miami, FL) in Mar 2023
Interview
Had a one shot interview with the hiring manager and his boss. It was over zoom, meeting went really well I thought. They said, they would let me know the following week on next steps. The ghosted me big time. Recruiter never told me I didn't get the job, even after asking him by email about 5 times. Not professional at all. If they treat their candidates that way no saying how employees are treated.
