I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GLG in May 2022
Interview
There were three rounds of interviews with people of various statures, starting with the HR department, and then a department member, and then the department head. The first interview was just basic stuff. The second and third were far more substantive.
The entire process took around a week. Initial call by the HR, followed by a telephonic interview with the VP, followed by three in-person interviews at the Mumbai office. The in-person interviews were pretty straight forward. They are keen to know you as a person and your experience. Make sure you clearly know what the role demands and what the company does. They WILL ask you about their business model. Lastly, they would give you a scenario and will ask you to pitch to test your communication skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at GLG (London, England) in Jul 2017
Interview
First was a 30 mins phone interview which was pretty standard. I got then invited to the second round at the London Office which consisted of three rounds, a competency based interview, a role play and a case study. The great thing about the interview process at GLG is that it's super transparent, you will know who you are going to speak with beforehand and what the interview is going to the be like. Overall, the second round was stimulating, I really took away some great insights from it and the HR person who was responsible for my process was very nice and helpful. I then got invited for the third round and unfortunately had a very bad experience. You get invited to the offices again to again speak to three more employees from GLG all asking competency based questions. Unfortunately, 2 out of the 3 people seemed very arrogant and it was uncomfortable to have a conversation with them, something I have never experienced at an Interview before. Especially the hiring manager seemed like he did not want to be there and made it seem like I was wasting his time, that's when I decided that even if they would extend an offer I would not have taken it. Not to my surprise, I did NOT receive an offer which after 3 rounds and having interviewed with 7 people from GLG I was told in a very generic, automated email with no personal feedback whatsoever.
