I went through four rounds of interviews with Fusang for a Senior Backend Engineer position. The technical interviews were well-structured and handled by knowledgeable, friendly engineers who asked thoughtful questions and communicated clearly.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was undermined by poor communication and a lack of transparency from HR and upper management. After the final rounds, responses became non-existent, especially when discussing salary and role expectations. My attempt to renegotiate was met with silence.
Although the role was advertised as Senior Backend Engineer, it was later suggested I might work on unrelated projects from the parent company. This raised concerns about honesty and role clarity.
Some interactions with the management also came across as unprofessional and dismissive, reflecting a top-down culture with limited respect for candidates.
Overall, while the engineering team is strong, the poor communication and lack of transparency from management make the company difficult to recommend.
