Went through an extensive interview process of 5-6 rounds, interviewed and toured in person, and was ghosted without the communication and notification that Further and its culture highly promotes. It is not ok to rush someone through multiple interviews in which they've had to take off of work only to not consider them enough to follow up regarding interview status or selection decision. This is an extremely tough job market and an even tougher economy. People's time should be considered. Candidates should be shown more compassion. The interview process and lack of communication, once the process was done, prompted me to dig further into their interview style and review history. Further does not seem like the culture-rich, people-centric company that it heavily promotes. While speaking with people at Further was enjoyable, it should not take 6 interviews to determine whether you'd select a candidate. That contributes to burn-out on both the candidate and hiring sides. There were times when my interviews were changed, I was asked to come in or schedule something for the following day (little notice), and one interview was canceled last minute... It was a lot going on during the interview process. Therefore, I wasn't too surprised that it was too good to be true in not receiving any type of follow-up, decision, or feedback.
