Very intense interview process given the role type. There were 3 stages and each one felt very grilling to check fit for company and role, gave the impression the role was a lot more responsibility

      Junior Account Manager Interview

      Sep 13, 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Funding Circle (London, England) in Apr 2016

      Interview

The face-to-face interview consisted of 2x 30 minute interviews, firstly regarding 'why you want a career in sales', and secondly asking questions on what you know about the company. For the first interview I was sat opposite a panel of 3 interviewers. The interview was very formal, with many questions asked and little time to think of an answer. The second interview, however, was more relaxed, as I was sat with two interviewers who asked me what I knew about the company. They were very helpful and were happy to provide an answer when I did not know it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why Sales? Why funding circle? What other interviews have you had? What work experience do you have in Sales? Why not a large company or graduate scheme?
