Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the interview process positive and appreciate the chance to clarify the role. Front Page Agency is a consulting and sales firm — not a technology company — and our job postings clearly state entry-level project manager with training provided, outlining that the position begins in sales and client-facing work, not IT or software development. We understand that some candidates coming from technical backgrounds may expect a different type of role, but our structure focuses on business development, leadership, and management training. We’ll continue working to ensure our descriptions remain clear so expectations are aligned from the start.

They had you study a pamphlet and learn the ins and outs of the company structure. I spoke with a recruiter first for about 5 minutes but did not mention it was a sales position. After that I was supposed to be interviewing with someone named Paul through Zoom but it ended up being with somebody different.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to clarify. Our interview process is intentionally structured to ensure candidates understand both the company and the career path before moving forward — that’s why we provide materials in advance. The role begins in sales by design, as it’s the foundation for developing leadership and management skills within our training program. We’re transparent about this in both the job posting and company overview, but we understand it can come as a surprise if someone expected a purely administrative position. Regarding the interviewer change, sometimes scheduling adjustments happen to keep interviews on time — but every member of our leadership team is qualified to conduct them. We appreciate your time and wish you success in your career journey.

      Interview

The interview process was very quick. After applying, I received a text inviting me to an initial interview. Instead of asking for my availability, they simply told me what time to be available. The first interview was brief, mostly going over my resume and some general questions about my experience and goals. Shortly after, I was invited to a second-round interview. Again, they assigned a time rather than asking what worked for me. In this round, they provided more details about the role, which was advertised as an Entry-Level Project Manager position. However, after doing some research, I found that the job is actually in marketing and sales, not project management. This was concerning since the job listing was misleading. Overall, the process moved quickly, but the lack of transparency about the role and the way interview times were scheduled were red flags for me. If you’re applying, I’d recommend clarifying job responsibilities upfront.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and for recognizing the efficiency of our interview process. We do our best to move qualified applicants quickly through interviews to avoid long waiting periods — especially since we receive hundreds of applications weekly. Regarding scheduling, our team assigns interview slots based on application volume to streamline coordination, but candidates are always welcome to request a different time if needed. We’ll continue making that clearer in our communications. As for the role itself, our postings explicitly state “Entry-Level Project Manager — Training Provided” and clarify that the position begins in sales and marketing as part of a structured management training program. The goal is to develop leadership, communication, and business skills required for future project management roles. We understand that not every candidate is looking for a sales-driven environment, but the program is transparent, legitimate, and performance-based. We appreciate your feedback and wish you success in your career journey.
