I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Free Agency in Jan 2024
Interview
Such an unethical interview process. I applied to a research position and I received a response from the lead recruiter.
To start the interview process, you are asked to create a mock research document highlighting a job position. This is unpaid of course and they expect you to do this without even phone screening you prior. Seems like a way to poach free work from desperate people. Needless to say I will be choosing to not move forward with the interview process.
The interview process was exhausting. 4 interviews and 2 tests, including one in office all within 2 weeks. I have never gone through so many interviews and editing tests for a company before.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot of standard questions for the role. I don't think any stood out as odd or different.
I applied online. I interviewed at Free Agency (New York, NY)
Interview
I met with the CEO and CTO who were both amicable and professional. The first round with the CEO was just to determine culture fit and went well. The second interview with the CTO just consisted of me explaining notable projects that I've worked on, highlighting my skill set. The final interview was where the CTO gave me the take home technical challenge to build a document classifier.

Question 1
I was asked to build a text document classifier and was given significant leeway in how I chose to design it.
