I interviewed at Franklin Templeton (New York, NY)
Interview
Behavioral focused, really focused on understanding you as a person. Panel style so multiple people on at once. Definitely prepare and be ready to answer various styles of questions. Kind of a slow process that started out with a long phone call screen.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Franklin Templeton (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
It is a very competitive (only around 8 spots with 4 being in NYC), and I was also a former intern who received multiple referrals. But the interviews are mostly behavioral and want to see a genuine interest in the industry and some relevant experience (like student investment fund), as well as eagerness to learn about the whole industry (it is a rotational program). For my year, there was an emphasis on investment management. But the people are very easy to talk to, in my opinion.

Interview
Preliminary HR phone call followed by two interviews. They want to know if you are apt to change since its a rotational program. They also want to know that you have intellectual curiosity.
