Received a phonemail from an HR intern (couldn't answer basic questions) and was asked to come in to the hotel. Arrived at hotel on day requested, had to use employee entrance, buzz to get in and was greeted by HR who led me down a series of corridors, not saying a word. Arrived at HR office, where I was sat in the waiting room for 30 mins (they were late). Was called in by HR manager a if I was at a doctors office (no smile, and walked ahead of me). Sat down in the office for a unfriendly/cold 10 minute review of my resume then it was over and was left to fend for myself to leave the hotel via the maze of corridors. The experience in whole was cold, uninviting. For a "4 star hotel" that prides on luxury service, they certainly fail at providing friendly service to potential new hires. Maybe they feel you should be honoured they even selected you.
