very odd, personal phone call then massive group breakout with one presenter. not very professional process. not a real position as salary was not guaranteed, more like a if you pay your way through training and do this and this and this you get a job.

Simple. It is a lot like athletic recruiting. Will make it seem as if you are the chosen one but in reality.. you know. I like to think that they mean well, and everyone begins their journey somewhere so depending where you are along your journey of advising it may be a solid beginning point.
