1. After submitting an application, I was asked to submit a video recording talking about myself and my qualifications.
2. Moved on to the first interview, which was described as the "cultural fit" interview.
3. Afterwards, I was emailed materials to prepare cold call scripts and a 30-minute sales demo that I presented in the second interview.
4. Interview with the CEO
I will say, my interview experience was a bit discombobulated. I was originally rejected after the second interview, and encouraged to apply for a different position within the company. A few days later, I was informed that more positions had opened up in the original role I had applied for, and they wanted to schedule me for a final interview with the CEO for the original application. During the interview, he offered me the job on the spot and encouraged me to review the offer letter before accepting. The offer letter stipulated a deadline, which was over a week away from the date I received it. I took the weekend to think over the offer, but when I tried to accept the following Monday, well within the indicated timeline, I was told that they had rescinded the job offer because they hadn't heard from me. I found this both disappointing and unprofessional, especially considering nobody had reached out to inform me of this decision. From the outside, Flipcause seems like a great company, so I hope my experience was just a fluke and it's not an indication of the working culture as a whole.
