I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Gainesville, FL) in Feb 2015
Interview
Camous recruiting. First round on campus, second one over phone, third one they would fly you out to Portland to interview if selected. Second interview over the phone with someone in Washington was almost identical to the 1 on 1 interview. If they fly you out they probably will give you an offer if you can pass the panel sort of phase in Portland.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you worked in sales before? Most questions were basic and not too complicated. A lot of questions surrounding ability to be on phones and interest in working in that type of setting. Be sure you're confident in your willingness to move to the west coast if selected. Second interview (phone) was very similar to first except a little shorter.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was a 30 minute phone interview with the hiring team basically going through my resume asking questions about it as well as some behavioral questions. It was. average difficulty overall and I made to the next interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2026
Interview
Easy short phone call. Basic behavioral questions. Lots background details about Fisher that is not really needed in a first interview. The flow of the interview is weird because you go from answering questions about yourself to hearing about the pay structure of the company and then back to more questions about yourself.

Tell us about yourself and your background? Why Fisher? Why this role?
