I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Fisher Investments in May 2014
Interview
First Contact: Phone screening with a gentleman at HQ. He was very nice; made me feel interested in the job even though after speaking with him I felt the job may be a step down for me.
First Interview: in-person meeting with a Manager. He was nice, bland, seemed bored. Didn't make me feel very interested in the job. The second was a manager who just recently became manager after 10 years at FI. He was rude and crass. He commented that the questions I asked made him think the position was beneath me. FYI: I haven't made 200+ cold calls a day since I was fresh from High School; yes that's a big step back. I was only interested in the position if I had potential to move up, and how quickly is it possible? I think my honest approach was too much for him. When I stated that I wanted an employer with like ethics and morals, and that customer service and high standards are important to me: he balked.
I have read many bad reviews here about the authoritative and "rule by fear" approach they have here... I would definitely agree. I had that sense when I walked in. They never called me back and quite frankly, I was glad they didn't. I would never use their services. I felt like I was walking into the Wolf on Wall Street... sweat shop in there without any personal space. Weird!

Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was a 30 minute phone interview with the hiring team basically going through my resume asking questions about it as well as some behavioral questions. It was. average difficulty overall and I made to the next interview.

Interview
Easy short phone call. Basic behavioral questions. Lots background details about Fisher that is not really needed in a first interview. The flow of the interview is weird because you go from answering questions about yourself to hearing about the pay structure of the company and then back to more questions about yourself.

Tell us about yourself and your background? Why Fisher? Why this role?
