I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments in Oct 2013
Interview
Multiple in person interviews and one over the phone "trial" where I had to pitch them their business as if they were a potential client. Seriously all they want to know in the AE department is that you are somewhat charismatic and are competitive. Push the competitive aspect hard. Pretend you played a sport and all that, they eat that crap up. It was pretty easy to get through the process there when you know the personality type of the sales people on the floor. Pretend you are interviewing with Alec Baldwin in Glenngary Glenn Ross...

Question 1
The usual run of the mill stuff. Biggest weakness, give us a time when you "generic thing"... nothing unique or challenging.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was a 30 minute phone interview with the hiring team basically going through my resume asking questions about it as well as some behavioral questions. It was. average difficulty overall and I made to the next interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2026
Interview
Easy short phone call. Basic behavioral questions. Lots background details about Fisher that is not really needed in a first interview. The flow of the interview is weird because you go from answering questions about yourself to hearing about the pay structure of the company and then back to more questions about yourself.
