I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Westlake, TX) in Nov 2023
Interview
i interviewed for full stack software engineer intern through the leap program. first interview with a campus recruiter was a phone call scheduled through text. asked very basic behavioral questions about things listed on my resume like what languages im best at, how i work in a team, how i communicate effectively, problems i've had in the workplace, how i work in a group. no technical questions besides surface level ones like "how well do u know java?". second and final interview was scheduled through the phone again 2 weeks in advanced (zoom call), this time with a software engineer. first he went through my entire resume, i would recommend knowing your resume very well. asked questions about literally everything on my resume. "tell me about your internship" "tell me about your x project" "tell me about your y project" etc. next question was the 4 pillars oop, know them and their definitions well. implement a library system with books with different genres and a checking in and out method. this is to test if u can implement oop in a real design. next was 2 very easy coding questions: matrix problem, times table iirc, as long as yk how to traverse a matrix you'll be fine. reverse a string without using another string or data structure (reverse for loop). they didnt ask me to code at all just prompted me with the questions and asked how i would go about solving them. keep in mind i think the questions are all based on what the interviewer/recruiter wants to ask u so the questions might vary, but these are all the questions i was asked. hope this helps and best of luck!

Interview
My interview was on campus at NC State. There was 30 minutes of behavioral and 30 minutes of technical. The technical was very easy, questions about the four principles of OOP and one question about how to search a string for the first duplicate character.

Very good, great staff. Interviewers were really nice and we got along well. They asked a lot of questions about my resume, I haven’t heard back from them yet. I am hopeful to have moved on to the next round
