Applied, and not too long after I received an email asking to set up a phone screening. The process was not smooth. I scheduled the screening for a few days later, and requested a time at 3:00pm, specifically listing the time zone as EST. First, the interview got shifted by 30 minutes, which was no big deal. At 3:30pm, I sat in the Teams meeting room for almost a half hour waiting for the interviewer. I left and sent an email letting them know I was there but was still interested in rescheduling. The interviewer stated that their company is in the Central time zone, and wanted me to come back at 3:30pm Central, so 4:30pm of the original time zone I stated. The tone from the interviewer was that I was not attentive to the time change, when I was clear on the time zone details. I opted to reschedule to 4pm Central a couple days later, which was pushed back one week due to unforeseen circumstances. A week later when asked if I was still interested to talk, I declined to meet again. I felt my time was being wasted and I lost a lot of interest with this friction.
