Everything started well, and I was very motivated by the position I was applying for. After my online application, I received an invitation for an HR interview. The call went well and lasted about 30 minutes.
However, things took a turn after that initial HR interview. The following day, I had to take a METTL test that wasn't related in any capacity to the position I was applying forâa test where I was filmed, my computer was recorded, and I had to take a picture of my I.D. It was extremely invasive. After a day, I received an automated email informing me I didn't pass without any further explanation. Mind you, if I had passed, I still would have had to complete at least 4 other steps. This type of process is completely broken and ridiculous. To the company: You are not recruiting robots nor tributes for the Hunger Games. A bit of respect for the people applying!
