      Office Manager Interview

      Sep 9, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I interviewed at FareHarbor (Denver, CO)

      Interview

The interview process at FareHarbor was great! I was first given about a 15-20 minute phone interview before I was asked to schedule an in-person interview. The in-person interview lasted around an hour. I first met with the HR manager before I met with some of the execs. Everyone was very personable and were very eager to work at FareHarbor. It made it for an easy-going yet professional interview. I was given a tour of the office which allowed me to visualize the culture of the office and who I would be working with, which is always very important to me. Post interview, emails were responded to in a timely manner and any and all questions were answered. Overall, it was a very smooth and positive experience.

      Office Manager Interview

      Aug 18, 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FareHarbor (Denver, CO)

      Interview

I first had a fifteen minute phone interview and was then asked to come in for a one hour face to face interview. I met with a few different members of the team, including the CEO. The interview was really casual and seemed to go well... in fact, I was there for two hours instead of the one hour they said it would take. I was told that I would hear from them the next day with a decision only to hear absolutely nothing. After a week, I reached out via email to see if any decisions had been made regarding the position. Over a week later and I still have heard NOTHING. It's unfortunate because this was not the first time this had happened to me with this company. I had originally applied for a different position and did a phone interview with the CEO. At the end of that conversation he told me to look out for an email that day to set up a time to meet others in the office. I never heard anything until I reached out about a different position. Just rude. This is a young and very fast growing company. Everyone seems really on board with the company and that's great. But there is a lack of follow up and professionalism with the interview process, which is surprising when one of the big things they talk about it valuing their employees. No, I am not an employee, but I did take time out of my day to come to their office and interview. I think the least you could do (and most professional), would be to send out a quick "we decided to go another route" email. It could even be auto-generated! Makes me wonder about the professionalism of the company as a whole.
