Interview
Inertview moved fairly quickly. HR screen, followed by Manager phone interview, and in-person with manager, director, and two FA4s. The process was complete in 3 weeks. After the final interview it took almost 2 months to hear back about the position. My HR recruiter did not respond to calls or emails after a month and I had to email the hiring manager directly to find out I did not get the role. It would've been nice to have some kind of communication or follow up especially when the manager had said they would come to a decision a few days after my final interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fannie Mae (Washington, DC) in Jun 2017
Interview
The recruiter called and asked a few questions about my resume. Be sure you tailor your resume to the position you are applying for. From there a 30 minute phone interview was set up with the Hiring Manager. Know the position you are applying for, a little about the company, why you want to leave your current position. Use examples of what you do on your current job that relates to the position you are applying for. The recruiter will also send you the job description prior to your phone interview.
