      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at FamilySearch.org (Rexburg, ID) in Sep 2015

      Interview

It happened during a career fair at school. I was late for sign up for interview, but they let me sign. Next day I met a recruiter for ICS center, he asked me to code for fizz-buzz questions. Then he asked me about my background and difficulties in either team or personal project.

I interviewed at FamilySearch.org (Lehi, UT)

      Interview

The process was smooth. 3 rounds in total. The interview included some technical questions and a live coding challenge. The interviewers were very friendly and encouraging. For a more front-end position, I would definitely spend time studying React, and basic JS, HTML, and CSS knowledge.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is a React hook? How to make a custom hook? What are the benefits of using components?

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FamilySearch.org (Provo, UT) in Mar 2015

      Interview

Really good interview. Asked basic questions about Abstraction, Polymorphism, and other concepts. Asked about Java programming. He asked about why I wanted the job, what my purpose was, which I was happy to say. He asked about my experience in programming, what major I am, etc. If you understand the basics of developing a class in java with data members and methods, then you will be set.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

Can you create a class in Java for me that involves a deck of cards?

      Question 2
