I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Expresssteuer (Hamburg) in Apr 2023
Interview
The interview process was 2 months long due to constant reschedules from the company. I got requested to deliver a very long exercise that according to the brief, was supposed to be done in 3 hours. The exercise consisted in: - 3 social media post for two different brands (so 6 in total) - An animated post - A billboard - Rebuild a graphic element explaining each decision step - Explain what design approach was used to create a provided design element. All this needed to be presented in slides and it required the study of two company brand books. I reached the last step of the selection process, receiving many compliments from the head of the department. Eventually they didn't hire me and despite I kindly asked for feedback, I never got any.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview questions weren't hard, but the whole interview process was the worst I ever experienced.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expresssteuer in Sep 2022
Interview
I was contacted by an external recruiter, who was very nice and helpful during the whole process. He communicated my salary range to the company. I then went through 4-5 interviews and was invited to another call to get an offer. The last call was with the second CTO, who I've never seen through the whole process. He offered me below my minimum salary expectation. I asked why I was even interviewing if their range was not supporting my expectation he answered with "Yeah, sorry just a misunderstanding" and then continued to praise the free fruits and drinks in the office.
I wasted time and preparation for this interviews.

Interview
