Evolve Mortgage Services interview questions

After an online assessment I received an email from a recruiter to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview seemed to go ok on my end but the recruiter didn't seem too familiar with the role. I was unclear as to the next steps after the phone call so I followed up with an e mail. Was told he was waiting for the managers to let him know who they wanted to interview? Then the next day got an e mail that they felt other applicants were more qualified when I literally have the exact background and knowledge needed for the role. Confusing.

Very easy phone interview with HR then manager... Both very nice to talk with. Just about 30-60 minutes. Complete work from home job. Sounds like a newer company. I did not except job due to pay, vacation and benfits didn't work for me. But it was a nice process and I would love to work from home.
