I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Everlaw (Oakland, CA) in May 2022
Interview
Entire process has 5 stages including the recruiter screening call. A combo of technical, take home assignments plus chats with the hiring manager and a panel at the end.
The first take home assignment is fairly easy and straightforward but it is timed so the pressure stems from that.
The second technical assessment can be a bit tricky and requires one to have a keen eye for nuance. However it is doable and you are allowed a week to complete it.
The panel interview is probably the hardest round and challenges you to recall within the depths of your brain all the various processes and scenarios you have ever encountered. Describe them clearly and you will do fine.
Overall, the entire interview process was okay but long. The hiring manager was one of the nicest people I ever spoke to and seems very genuine and humble.

Question 1
Describe a process/situation/time that didn't go the way you expected it to.
I applied online. I interviewed at Everlaw in Jan 2021
Interview
I first got a 30min phone screen interview. Basic screening questions about experience, background. Had move on to a timed exercise on customer service/technical (writing). Another 30min conversation with team lead and then a 2.5 -3hr interview with the team with a Technical exercise leading up to the interview. Everyone was friendly so it's hard to gauge if you're doing well or not but as a reflection if the interview cut short, it may be a bad sign.
