It was a 3 step process. A phone interview was the first stage in which there were technical and subjective questions, the second interview was onsite with senior employee and the HR. While the third was also onsite with the hiring manager.

Simple, concise, standard questions about past experience, with back and forth about the job responsibilities. Part of the interview was to assess my willingness to travel and work abroad for extended periods of time.

Nice conversation. Clear expectations from each side. Logical list of questions about employee experience and employer profile. Possible future projects were discussed, as well as work in the past. Administrative and financial details were communicated clearly.
