I was approached within a month after my application and the email confirmed the job listing doesn't specify exactly what the job entails so they will cover that in the interview, its a conversation. Extremely late reply, terrible hiring process after the interview, More time was spent on the technical side to test your basic understanding, they act like they are satisfied with you. However, they already had preferences.

Interview
The interview process started with an initial HR screening call asking typical questions. Next was an interview with one of their quant traders. This was followed by a take-home data related task with no deadline. Following this was another interview with the head of HR. Throughout each interview I was given positive feedback, and told in the last interview that I would have a final call with the CEO in the next few days. After 3 weeks of no follow up or response to emails, I was sent a very impersonal and generic rejection email. This email said more information would be given if requested, but this was not that case, after I followed up three times with no response. Strange and disrespectful to be ghosted after over a month of interviewing and nothing but positive feedback along the way.
As for the communication lapse, we aim to communicate regularly with all our candidates. Sometimes, due to the high volume of applicants, there may be delays in our responses, but this is something that we take seriously and are constantly working on improving.
We intend to review the latest interviews to understand what may have caused it.
Had an behavioural interview with standard cv questions. It was agreed for me to proceed to the next round and details about it were already discussed.. A few days later I got an unpersonal rejection and no feedback.
