Interview
Process included the initial application and a competency test including Excel, SQL and others.
Next step was a Zoom interview with the office recruiter for London where I was promptly shut down when I queried if there would be availability for a more remote focused hybrid position, which the recruiter had been notified about my interest in this both on my application and via a referral. Which gave me the impression that the interviewer did not appear prepared or read my application properly.
I did not appreciate the recruiters tone with me during this interview and feel like my time has been wasted. If the hard requirement for in-office working has to be up-kept then my application should have been denied from the get go.
I would recommend that Equus be more open to candidates who are looking for more remote and hybrid focused positions.

Question 1
As my interview only lasted a total of six minutes I did not experience the rest of the questions, but the 2 that I did get to answer entailed - 'What interests you in a position at Equus Software' and 'Why am I looking for a new position'.
It had multiple layers to the interview. One is a diagnostic exam where they test your skills in Excel. Next is the initial exam where they test SQL and Excel knowledge. Then the interview where they test your sql skills again by applying what you have learned from a document that they give you

Has about multiple stages of the interview. Technical Exam where you have to show your skills in Excel and SQL, Diagnostic Exam where they test again the SQL and Excel skills and Culture fit interviews to determine whether you are a fit for the company.
