I applied through university. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (New York, NY) in Sep 2012
Interview
Applied for the position through school's career website. They emailed me two weeks later to schedule a group interview. Group interview was quick; the guy just talked about what they did and the projects interns would be working on. Then he went around the room asking everyone to tell them about themselves.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (San Francisco, CA) in May 2024
Interview
It was not terribly difficult, but it does requires a good work ethic as well as you need to show that you can make a positive impact and contribute to the good atmosphere. Overall a great experience.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Springfield, IL) in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview was a phone call and was very casual. I asked most of the questions while the person just answered the questions. He said they didn't hire that many interns.
