      Analyst Interview

      Mar 2, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epsilon Economics

      Interview

I was contacted by Ashley, Operations, through LinkedIn for an analyst role. After a phone screen, she set up a time to meet me to discuss the role further. I really appreciated her flexibility in meeting times since I was already working full-time. She next set up in-office interviews with Directors that afforded me the chance to understand the firm culture. Overall a highly personalized and responsive recruiting experience that made me incredibly excited to join the company. I felt like I was given plenty of opportunities to learn about the firm culture and meet colleagues which I appreciated. Switching roles can be daunting but I felt like this was a transition that was made easy by a highly personalized, responsive recruitment process.

      Anonymous employee
      Chicago, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Epsilon Economics (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2015

      Interview

Had a brief phone interview/screening with the Head of Operations that was followed up by an invitation to a full day interview. Interview was a "super" day consisting of meeting several Associates, Directors, and the CEO of the company. Everyone was very friendly and were very forward about the company, the position, and the future of the company and focus. Mostly focused on behavioral questions but also asked me to talk about past data and analytic projects I worked on at school. Included a 40 minute case that was very conversational in tone. I was treated to lunch with several analysts at the end.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Describe me to a project you worked on that involved analysis of data, possibly including regression.
