      Account Executive Interview

      Aug 27, 2024
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Eppo (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2024

      Interview

The interview process was extremely smooth, thorough, yet reasonable in terms of the length of time and effort required to be successful. Sarah did a fantastic job of coordinating the process and communicating with me throughout. She ensured that I knew what I needed to do at each step in order to be prepared.

      Account Executive Interview

      Aug 29, 2024
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eppo (London, England) in Jul 2024

      Interview

The interview process was straightforward and thorough. Eppo ensured I understood everything I needed to, in order to evaluate whether they were the right fit for me, and vice versa. The 5 stages were a combination of assessing my experience, career goals and motivations for wanting to join Eppo, and there was a behavioural assessment as part of the process. The most challenging part was the presentation stage where I had to formulate a presentation and run a discovery call with three prospects. However, the interviewees (prospects) were reasonable with their questions and made me feel comfortable.

      Account Executive Interview

      Feb 22, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eppo in Sep 2023

      Interview

The first few interviews were simple enough and I guess I had misconstrued the presentation so there was no offer (my bad). The part where I rate the interview poorly is both in the unofficial background check and the final feedback. The Eppo hiring manager happened to know someone from the company I was working at, and basically contacted my then-boss who didn't know I was applying to Eppo. So imagine my surprise when my then-boss confronted me with that. Eppo hiring manager did apologize, saying he didn't mean to get me in trouble, and that his contact automatically connected them together. So hopefully that's a one-off. After my presentation, I was told by Eppo HR that they'd get back to me latest, by the end of the following week. I waited that week with no word, so I followed up with them and it was only afterwards I got an official response from the hiring manager that they decided to go with someone else. They are totally fair in whatever candidate they chose, but I thought it either unprofessional or just plain cowardly to not say anything until pressed.

      Question 1

Presentation was a role-play for discovery call. They used Vimeo as an example customer.
