      Flight Attendant Interview

      Apr 6, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Dallas, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Envoy Air (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2016

      Interview

Very organized and the recruiters were very personable making it a comfortable experience. We arrived as a group from various shuttles, there were about 30-40 of us. The first thing we were given was a clipboard with a copy of our online application, along with a questionnaire regarding an experience of our great customer service to answer. After about 45 minutes, we were all taken into a conference room where we were left for about 15 minutes alone, I used this opportunity to socialize with the others; there were a couple of people that immediately pulled out their cell phones, thumbs a tapping, it was annoying. A recruiter came into the conference room and gave us an hour long presentation about Envoy Air and the flight attendant position. She then opened up a question and answer session. The next step: we were were broken into groups of 3-5. I was in a group of 3. Our group was called immediately and we went to our group interview, which was about 45 minutes to an hour long. The recruiter asked the first question, and it was our choice who answered first, then the recruiter chose the second person to answer. There were five questions to answer, and then we each had to select a flight attendant announcement to read, we were then separated and I went to my one-on-one, with a different recruiter. I did not see the other two from my group, and only two others from the entire group of interviewers. After my one-on-one I was taken back into the conference room, where I filled out a permission slip to obtain a drug test for the following week, then into another room where I was fingerprinted. After fingerprinting I was escorted to the lobby where the receptionist called a taxi to take two other people and myself to the airport. I wore a royal blue blazer over a black dress, with pearl jewelry, black tights and basic black pumps. I was very sociable and smiled. One of the recruiters complimented me on my apparel, and amde - personal comment to me "I will make sure that I am the one who pins on your wings at graduation!"

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Envoy Air (Irving, TX) in Feb 2026

      Interview

Fairly easy process, there's a large presentation where they present all of the info you'll need, training will be scheduled for the next month from the interview, then they will have a group interview with about 5-6 people and you'll each be asked about 2-3 very generic questions about customer service experiences, values or company knowledge you'll all be sent back in the main room and they will start calling people to "commute" back where they came from (basically means you did not make it) after everyone has been interviewed whoever remains will be offered a CJO, you will be fingerprinted and drug tested on the spot, the hiring manager told everyone if you don't think you will pass bow out and reapply when you are clean, if you wait until they take you to test and refuse it will still count as a positive and you cannot apply to any airline at all. Good luck <3
