It was a one sided interview where I was grilled for an hour and a 1/2 by a stream of people coming and going from the interview room. No introductions to the members other than the ones I made on my own. No attempt to sell me on the position, the company and why would I want to work there. The hiring manager specifically told his staff to go really hard on me. I understand that you want to know a candidates limits of knowledge but that is really off-putting to say in front of the candidate. Things were talked about such as offers being made the next day (happened 2 different times) that didn't happen. Entire process dragged on for 2 months when initially I was told they wanted to hire me right away. I did not get a good feeling about the company, the job or the hiring manager. Additionally, although the company allows employees to work remotely, it is up to the hiring manager and this manager does not allow his employees to work remotely. This is the 2nd position I have interviewed for with this company in the past 2 years and both times I walked away because I didn't feel like it was a place I would want to work.
