I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Emerson (Mumbai) in Dec 2012
Interview
The interview was pretty easy. There were few technical questions about flow meters . Mostly asked about my classes and school activities. I got a second interview at their headquarters in Mumbai. I went through a series of 3 interviews with 3 different people. They basically asked about my background, what/why I took certain classes.

Question 1
Explain which flow meters you know and working principle of it
It was a really fast process, i got a interview scheduled just 2 days after aplying. The interview is 30 minutes call with 3 supervisors who ask you some very simple situational questions, like "How do you react to negative feedback?" or "What do you do when a method that has worked in the past doesn't work in a problem you;re trying to solve?" You must answer with an example of a previous experience (explain the situation and what you did), saying what would you do is not enought for the interviewers.

Three total interviews. First interview was with HR, second with hiring manager, and third was a panel. The third interview was all “tell me about a time when……”. They weren’t the usual “tell me about a time when” questions but overall the interview was okay.
