I walked in and they had me fill out an application. Set up a meeting for HR paper work and did the onboarding. The same night I worked a banquet and was put on the schedule. Over all took a week not even.

Face to face in the hotel. It was professional and in a quiet area. It was one on one and took about 20 minutes. we talked about work history and positive and negative situations and how they were handled
