The interview process was an initial screening with the recruiter and when successful, an interview with the hiring manager and HR.
The first was quite smooth, but the recruiter went from saying I had a great CV matching the role to saying I was not experienced enough and should have taken a lower band position. She pushed me forward for a higher position, I was called for the second interview with a long list of recommendations on how to prepare.
I was expecting technical questions, but I got none. It was all behavioural. The interviewers were quite friendly, but the HR person highlighted a few times how "here in Lilly" they require a minimum level 8 qualification (which I have), but preferably higher.
I didn't like how they put this, as they knew my qualifications but made me feel like I was not enough. I am glad I was interviewing from the comfort of having a job, it looked like they were being charitable in giving the opportunity of an interview with them.
The position turned out to be not whar I was looking for, so I informed the initial recruiter that I did not intend to proceed further.
This put me off, they think they are better than anyone else.
